This week we discussed the topic of the news on pages 21 to 23.
Hay que estar al día - You have to keep up to date
To start off, we did a group brainstorming of ways to keep up with the world news:

Es importante estar al tanto de las noticias para tener temas de conversación en el trabajo o en el autobús.
It is important to be informed in order to have topics of conversation at work or on the bus.
