Beginners - class 5 (21/05/24)

This week we continued with the topic of directions. We looked at some directions and translated them: 

1. A. ¡Perdón! ¿Dónde está el banco, por favor?

B. El banco está a la derecha.

A. ¿A la derecha? Muchas gracias.

1. A. Sorry! Where is the bank please?

B. The bank is on the right.

A. On the right? Thank you very much.

2. A. ¡Perdone! ¿Dónde está la playa?

B. Siga todo recto, y la playa está a la izquierda.

2. A. Excuse me! Where is the beach?

B. Go straight ahead, and the beach it's on the left.

3. A. ¡Perdone! ¿Dónde está la iglesia de San Marcos, por favor?

B. Tome la primera calle a la a derecha y la iglesia está a la derecha.

3. A. Excuse me! Where is the church of San Marcos, please?

B. Take the first street on the right and the church is on the right

4. A. ¿Dónde está la comisaría, por favor?

B. Suba esta calle y la comisaría está a la izquierda.

4. A. Where is the police station, please?

B. Go up this street and the police station is on the left.

5. A. ¡Oiga! ¿El supermercado está cerca de aquí?

B. Sí, hay un supermercado al lado del banco.

A. Gracias.

B. De nada.

5. A. Hey! Is the supermarket near here?

     B. Yes, there is a supermarket next to the bank.

     A. Thank you.

     B. You're welcome.
