Las prohibiciones
Se prohíbe aparcar - Parking is not allowed
Se prohíbe pegar carteles - Putting posters is not allowed
Se prohíbe pisar el césped - Keep off the grass
Se prohíbe fumar - Smoking is not allowed
Se prohíbe el paso, propiedad particular - Do not enter, private property
Other ways to express prohibition:
Está prohibido fumar / No se puede fumar
Smoking is not allowed
Está prohibido aparcar / No se puede aparcar
Parking is not allowed
Está prohibido pisar el césped / No se puede pisar el césped

Next, we put the conversation in order on page 19:
Guardia: Oiga, está prohibido aparcar aquí
Hey, parking is not allowed here.
Conductor: Perdone, sólo he parado un momento. Lo siento.
I am sorry, I only stopped here for a second. Apologies.
Guardia: ¿No ha visto la señal?
Have you not seen the sign?
Conductor: ¿Qué señal? No, no la he visto. Es que no soy de aquí.
What sign? No, I have not seen it. I am not from here.
Guardia: Pues tengo que ponerle una multa. Ya le he dicho que está prohibido aparcar.
I have to put a fine. I already told you that parking is not allowed.
Conductor: Sí, ya lo sé, pero…
