We revised some vocab

El bullicio – noise, fuss, confusión

Las medusas – jellyfish

Picar – to Sting

Me da vergüenza – it embarrasses me

Estoy aburrida/o – I am bored

Soy aburrida/o – I am boring

 

We watched a video about “alguna vez” – Have you ever…..?

 

¿Te has tirado alguna vez en paracaídas? – Have you ever done a parachute jump?

¿Has subido alguna vez un rascacielos? – Have you ever gone up a skyscraper?

¿Te has disfrazado alguna vez? – Have you ever worn a costume?

 

We began talking about two important words “ya” and “todavía”.

¿Ya has comprado el pan? – Have you bought the bread yet?

We use “ya” in the question.

Ya he comprado el pan. – I have already bought the bread.

We use “ya” in a positive sentence.

Todavía no he comprado el pan – I haven’t bought the bread yet.

We use “todavía” in a negative sentence.

 

For homework we have to do the exercise on p.9 – fill in the blanks in the story about Oaxaca.
