ELEMENTARY COURSE, 2021, CLASS 7

 This week we continued with the topic of the future tense. 

Mañana Jorge va a viajar a Barcelona con su familia - Tomorrow Jorge is going to travel to Barcelona with his family. 

Ahí van a visitar la Sagrada Familia y van a ver el museo de Picasso. - There they are going to visit the Sagrada Familia cathedral and they are going to see the Picasso museum. 

Jorge va a ir a un partido de fútbol en el Camp Nou - Jorge is going to attend a football match in the Camp Nou.

Va a ir solo porque a su mujer y a su hija no les gusta el deporte - He is going alone because his wife and his daughter don’t like sports.

Van a volver el domingo que viene - They are going to return next Sunday.

We listened to a conversation between two friends on page 23:

1.El sábado por la mañana el chico va a ir de compras - On Saturday morning the boy is going shopping. 

El sábado por la mañana la chica va a ir al banco - On Saturday morning she is going to the bank 

Luego la chica va a ir a la peluquería - She is going to the hairdressers.

El sábado por la tarde el chico va a estudiar - On Saturday afternoon the boy is going to study.

El domingo el chico va a ir a la sierra con Elsa - On Sunday he is going to the mountains with Elsa. 

El domingo la chica va a descansar y dormir y por la noche va a ir a un concierto - ON Sunday the girl is going to chill and sleep and in the evening she is going to attend a concert. 

In the second part of the class, in groups we talked about our plans for the future by using the questions on page 23. Some examples below:

¿Qué vas a hacer esta noche? - what are you going to do this evening?

Esta noche voy a ver la televisión y voy a leer - This evening I am going to watch TV and read.

¿Qué vas a hacer el fin de semana que viene? - What are you going to do next weekend?

Voy a visitar a mi amigo en Dublín y vamos a comer en un restaurante japonés - I am going to visit my friend in Dublin and we are going to eat in a Japanise restaurant.

¿Qué vais a hacer tu novio y tú el verano que viene? - What are you and your boyfriend going to do next summer?

Mi novio y yo vamos a viajar a Nueva York y vamos a asistir a un concierto allí - My boyfriend and I are going to travel to New York and we are going to attend a concert there.
