Él es policía / Ella es policía – He is a policeman; She is a policewoman

Él es médico/ Ella es médica – He is a doctor; She is a doctor

Él es cocinero / Ella es cocinera – He is a chef; She is a chef

Él es estudiante / Ella es estudiante – He is a student; She is a student

Él está jubilado / Ella está jubilada – He is retired ; She is retired

¿Qué haces? – What do you do for a living?

Soy policía – I am a policeman

¿Qué hace tu mujer? – What does your wife do?

Es profesora – She is a teacher

¿y tu marido? – And your husband?

Es cocinero – He’s a chef

Él es artista y músico – He is an artist and a musician

Él es fontanero – He is a plumber

Ella es granjera – She is a farmer

Ella es funcionaria – She is an office worker (normally someone who works for the government)

Él es diseñador gráfico – He is a graphic designer

Es abogado/a – He/she’s a lawyer

Es carpintero – He’s a carpenter

Es ingeniero/a – He/she is an engineer

¿A qué se dedica? – What does he/she do?
