This week we talked about holidays by using the future tense.
Firstly, we revised some vocabulary about holidays:
¿Dónde? - where
A la montaña - to the mountains
A la playa - to the beach
Al mar - to the sea
a una ciudad - to a city
¿Cuándo? - When?
En primavera - in spring
en verano - in summer
en otoño - in autumn
en invierno - in winter
¿Cómo? - how?
en avión - by plane
en tren - by train
en barco - by boat
en coche - by car
¿Con quién? - who with?
solo/a - alone
con mi pareja - with my partner
con mi familia - with my family
con mis amigos - with my friends
Facilidades que necesitamos en vacaciones:
un teléfono - a phone
un mapa - a map
aire acondicionado - air conditioning
ducha - shower
chimenea - fireplace
calefacción - heating
supermercado - supermarket
cafeterías y restaurantes - cafés and restaurants
In the second part of the class, in groups we agreed on a trip. An example below:
Vamos a ir a la playa en verano - We are going to the beach in the summer
Vamos a pasar una quincena en Ibiza - We are going to spend a fortnight in Ibiza
Vamos a viajar en avión - We are going to travel by plane
Vamos a comer en restaurantes típicos y vamos a conducir por la isla - We are going to eat in typical restaurants and we are going to drive around the island.
Vamos a salir de copas y vamos a escuchar música - We are going out for drinks and we are going to listen to music.
