2.¿En qué trabajas? - What do you do for a living?

Soy peluquera - I am a hairdresser

3.¿Qué te gusta hacer en tu tiempo libre? - What do you in your free time?

En mi tiempo libre me gusta leer y pasear por la playa. Me encanta hacer ejercicio - In my free time I like to read and walk on the beach. I love to do exercise.

4.¿Qué haces para relajarte después de trabajar? - What do you do to chill after work? 

Después de trabajar veo una película y charlo con mis amigos por las redes sociales - After work I watch a film and I chat with my friends on social media.

5.¿Cómo eres de personalidad? - What is your personality like?

Pienso que soy generosa porque me gusta ayudar a las personas - I think I am generous because I like to help people. 

Pienso que soy un poco tímida porque no me gusta hablar con personas que no conozco - I think I am a little shy because I don’t like to talk to people that I don’t know.

6.¿Qué animal es más grande: el león o la hormiga? - Which animal is bigger: the lion or the ant? 

El león es más grande que la hormiga - the lion is bigger than the ant.

Cuando voy de vacaciones siempre llevo mi pasaporte porque lo necesito para entrar a otro país - When I go on holidays I always bring my passport because I need it to enter a country.

Si voy a España siempre llevo mis gafas de sol porque me gusta ir a la playa y tomar el sol - If I go to Spain I always bring my sunglasses because I like to go to the beach and sunbathe.

También llevo mi teléfono móvil porque lo necesito para usar el GPS, hacer llamadas y enviar mensajes - I also bring my phone because I need it to use the GPS, to make calls and send text messages.

No estoy casado pero tengo novia - I am not married but I have a girlfriend.

Son las ocho y veinticinco de la tarde - It is 8.25pm

10.A tourist has just arrived at the bus station in Sligo and is looking for the abbey. 

Sigue todo recto hasta llegar a la oficina de Correos. Después gira la derecha en la calle O’Connell hasta llegar al final de la calle. Gira a la izquierda y continúa todo recto. Tallaban las calabazas en vez de nabos.

4. ¿Cuál es el origen de la tradición “trick or treat”?

Los niños iban de casa a casa pidiendo limosna.

 

5. ¿Qué recuerdos tienes de Halloween de tu infancia?

6. Menciona otras cosas que nosotros (los irlandeses) hemos heredado de los celtas.

We use the ending -ía to give the idea of “would”.
